FUTURE NARRATIVES FOR PLANET EARTH is a European network of 5 theatre festivals and 2 NGOs working in the fields of culture and education. By thinking about new stories in theatre, the network aims to recapture the future as a space of possibility.

During Shakespeare is dead, you can discover a number of theatre texts we have labelled future narratives. The State of the Playwright also has this theme as its starting point. During two labs, we will explore theatre writing and cultural organisations in times of climate crisis.

The first Leuven Climate Contract contains an action plan towards climate neutrality in 2030, commitments by partners to implement the actions, and a financial model to pay for them. What are the roles of the cultural sector here? What expertise can we share?
