Jeton Neziraj - PRISHTINA. The Premeditated Killing of a Dream

For years, Jeton Neziraj led the National Theatre of Kosovo as artistic director and also founded Qendra Multimedia, a leading production house in Pristina of which he remains director today. His impressive oeuvre includes over 25 plays that travel the world – from Europe to the United States – and have been translated into numerous languages. As an engaged author, he publishes sharp articles on culture and politics in local and international media, and has written several books, including the biography of the iconic Kosovan actor Faruk Begolli. Furthermore, Neziraj shares his expertise globally: following a professorship in dramaturgy at the University of Pristina (2007–2008), he continues to travel the world giving lectures and leading theatre workshops at various festivals, conferences, and universities.

In 2022, his play Department of Dreams was chosen for the international selection of Shakespeare is dead.
