Arad Dabiri - LEBENLIFEHAYAT!
Arad Dabiri was born in Vienna in 1997 and has no intention of leaving. His debut novel “DRAMA” was nominated for the Franz Tumler Literature Prize and was awarded the Austrian Book Prize 2023 for best debut. His second novel, “GLORIA!”, was published in 2024.
His debut play “DRUCK!”, which was created as part of the Drama Lab at the Wiener Wortstätten, was awarded with the Author’s Prize at the 2024 Heidelberg Stückemarkt.
Dabiri was selected as the Young Playwright of the Year 2025 in the critics’ poll conducted by Theater heute magazine. The play also earned him a nomination for the Drama Award at the Mülheim Theatre Festival in 2026.
